The people were lovely and service was great! We were just looking for something a little less basic.
The room and bathroom were exposed to the elements and therefore there were lots of bugs and there were large cockroaches in the bathroom. Not due to it being dirty but mainly due to it being full of holes in the floor and area. It was just not what we were looking for.

Very close to a beautiful beach.
45 minutes to the pier via a bumpy road, costs 200 TB to get there. Restaurant is expensive. Nothing to do apart from beach, very secuded, got bored after 3 hours. Having to set up the mosquito net is not fun. Bed sheets were not clean. Very noisy from beach animations.

The nearness of the beach. Local way of life. The sunset near to night life but not as to spoil the quiet way of the village
no fridge or tea /coffee

There was a stage show (hosted by Beach Club, the restaurant) right on the beach during our stay. Thai Dancing and Fire Juggling. It was very nice, however, the fire juggling was not that professional though.

The staff was really amazing. We were staying there during the Full Moon Party and we heard some stories that most hotels charge 4 nights in this period. However, this hotel did not charge anything. The big guy at the reception really helped us out and is an amazing guy. The bungalows are clean and worth the money.

Nice huts on right next to beachfront ina nice setting (most not with a beach view though). Little Thai sweets delivered to your room every night was a nice gesture. Good restaurant on the neach. The beach is a nice quiet resort perfect for relaxing!
Hut was very dimly lit, no cooking classes as advertised but there is a restaurant nearby that you can go to if you want. Journey across land from main ferry terminals was long and dusty. Would recommend either getting boat to the beach or make sure you get a proper a/c van instead of a pick up.

According to us this northern beach of ko pangan where Baan panburi is situated is one of the most beautiful of the island specially for those who don´t care about this useless full moon party. The cheap huts are really comfortable in such a nice atmosphere. They are nice and clean. We would surely recomend it.
You are dependent of the prices of the restaurant wich are not such cheap as the rooms. You are completely dependent of a motorbike since there is a huge abuse of the taxi drivers anywhere in this island. Prices look like sort of the european prices. They ask you for 1000thb to get you to the port!! 25 min drive to the port driving carefully the moto.

The rooms ooze quality and married with the remoteness the hotel offers a fantastic Robinson Crusoe get away from it all experience.
Would have liked to have an option of getting a television for those days when it rained - just to fill out the hours.
